Today's The Day!

After watching anxiously for the mailman all day - Matthew's Mission Call is finally here!! Matthew was about through the roof with excitement! The phone calls began as we gathered family to share this momentous occasion with Matthew!

Matthew has been waiting a LONG time for this day, he is holding a picture of himself in his missionary badge at age 5. We talked then about where he would like to go, he said China! Unfortunately - that mission isn't available yet...

The badge from that picture, is on his cake for this evening!
Such a momentous occasion requires CAKE! LOL

Michael came up from Salt Lake via UTA - he is SO excited for Matthew! He said he was "bragging" all the way up to everyone at the bus stops and on the bus/trax that his Brother was going on a mission. He had some awesome & unexpected conversations with some great people along the way.

Matthew's brother & sisters are behind him all the way! They were SO excited!

Mike and I are SO blessed to be the parents of 4 amazing kids!

Mike's parent's also came up from Spanish Fork! Excitement was in the air!!!

Patty came over, Cassie was anxious, and Clarisa was feeling a bit teary?

President McGuire & Bishop Galloway couldn't resist witnessing such an awesome event!!

Matthew is so blessed to have these amazing men to help and support him through this process.

Heavenly Father has poured out rich blessings to Matthew!
We are so thankful for amazing leaders!

Jenny & the Boys also came over! And finally the moment had arrived!!!
Everyone was on the edge of their seats!!!

And the mission is......................

Texas San Antonio Mission!!!

The excitement was obvious and then the questions began -thankfully the handy
booklet about the mission that came with the call offered most of the answers!

Lots of visiting and laughter as we enjoyed this moment together. Kylo came too and we enjoyed telling him. Of course Michael and Kyle have their usual "Rush" discussions.....
It was a GREAT evening!

So excited and anxious to start this next adventure!
