Well another week has come and gone. This week has been really long and really short at the same time. Mon-Thur seem to fly by and then Fri-Sun just seem to drag on. This week has been full of knocking and talking with everyone that we run into.
We have taught more first lessons then we have for a while and also set more return appointments then we have for a while. We have had a lot of good contacts and door step conversations. We have knocked into Jehovah's Witnesses several times this past week and it is really easy to see how they are the wrong faith because each person contradicted what the other one said. I think it is real funny that they can't even get there own members of their congregation to agree on the same doctrine.
We also participated in a YM/YW Missions around the world Activity this past Tuesday which was real fun. We got to be the finishing speakers and talk about the importance of preparing for a mission now and what they can do to have missionary experiences now. We went on exchanges this past week and I got to work with Elder Chipman. He has been out only 4 weeks so that was real fun. We had dinner with a family in the ward that we have not had dinner with in the last 4 1/2 months, who moved here about July last year from Rhode Island. That was real fun. Biking has been real fun this past week we have been consistently biking around 20-25 miles a day
Well that's all that has happened around here for this week. Talk to ya'll soon.
OH!!!!!!! BTW I saw a scorpion in the church yesterday. President Jones started playing with it trying to get it on his folder to take it outside and it started striking his folder. Then it fell off the wall and onto the floor where Elder Dupape Kicked it till it stopped moving and then flushed it down the toilet.
Love Elder McNamara
